To get Discord overlay working in Valorant, you gotta make sure Discord's overlay is enabled first. Open Discord, go to User Settings (the little gear icon), then click on 'Overlay' under App Settings. Make sure 'Enable in-game overlay' is checked. Then, head over to 'Game Activity', find Valorant, and make sure it's also enabled there. If it's not showing up, add it manually by clicking 'Add it!' and selecting Valorant. Sometimes, you might need to run Discord as admin. Right-click the Discord shortcut and choose 'Run as administrator'. This usually does the trick!

Honestly, the Discord overlay can be more trouble than it's worth in Valorant. Causes more lag than it's useful. I'd just use voice without overlay.
Just turn it on in Discord settings lol. If you've done that and it's not showing, run Discord as admin. Works every time.
