Bro, I had the same issue. I had to disable and re-enable the overlay in Discord settings, then it worked. Weird but true!

To get Discord overlay to work with PUBG, make sure you have enabled the overlay in the Discord app settings. Then, add PUBG to the 'Game Activity' section and toggle the overlay switch for it.

Sometimes, the overlay is hiding. Press Shift + ` (default keybind) while in-game to toggle it on.
