To get Fallout 4 to run in full screen on PC, first try pressing Alt+Enter during gameplay. This keyboard shortcut can toggle between windowed and full-screen modes. If that doesn't work, go into the game's video settings and look for a display mode option where you can select 'Full Screen'. Make sure to apply the changes before exiting the menu.

Another trick is to edit the Fallout4Prefs.ini file in your Documents/My Games/Fallout4 folder. Open it with a text editor, find the 'bFull Screen =' line, change its value to 1, and also ensure 'iSize H=' and 'iSize W=' match your monitor's resolution. Save the changes, and you should be good to go!

Honestly, just hit Alt+Enter. Works like a charm every time I accidentally windowed my game. Simple and no need to mess with files or settings.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
