To get fire plorts in Slime Rancher 2, you need to first find fire slimes. They usually appear after you trigger a blast or explosion in the Ember Valley. Just vacuum them up and put them in an Incinerator with an Ash Trough, and you'll start getting those fiery plorts!

So, I thought fire slimes only showed up in superheated areas like the Ember Valley after an explosion. Put them in an Incinerator with an Ash Trough. You'll have more fire plorts than you can handle!

Find fire slimes in Ember Valley after explosions. Incinerator + Ash Trough = fire plorts. Easy peasy!

My advice? Go to Ember Valley, cause a blast, and then use an Incinerator with an Ash Trough to collect fire plorts. It's a blazing good time!
