Catching bait in Terraria is pretty simple but takes a bit of legwork. First up, you're gonna need a Bug Net from the Merchant. Use that net to catch critters like worms, grasshoppers, and butterflies that spawn naturally in the world. Pro tip: breaking rocks and cutting grass sometimes spawns worms, especially when it's raining!

Bugs are your friends! Seriously, just buy a Bug Net and go nuts. Butterflies, worms, grasshoppers – they’re all over the place when you start looking. Rainy days are like a buffet with extra Worms showing up.

You really just need a Bug Net. It's all about swinging it at anything that moves. Well, almost anything. Some critters are better bait than others, so catch a variety!

Honestly, just fish when it rains. More bugs, less hassle.
