To snag yourself some Frost Cores in Terraria, you've gotta wait for the Frost Moon event or brave the snowy blizzard in the Ice biome. These Frosty foes, the Ice Golems, drop them when defeated. They're pretty tough customers, so gear up before you go core hunting!

Easy - wait for a blizzard in the Ice biome and take down an Ice Golem. They drop Frost Cores. Good luck!

I've been farming Frost Cores for ages, and the best tip I can give is to set up a small arena in the Ice biome with plenty of space to dodge the Ice Golem's attacks. Make sure it's during a blizzard, though, or they won't spawn. Happy hunting!
