Grinding Parallel Quests is where it's at. Trust me, I've spent countless hours in Xenoverse 2, and those quests are the best way to earn Zeni. Also, sell any extra items you get along the way.
Here's a hot take: Just play the game. Do missions, quests, and battles. You'll end up swimming in Zeni.
