For Eidolon hunting, you'll want to focus on sniper rifles like the Rubico Prime or Vectis Prime. They pack a punch and have great crit stats!
Tigris Prime is also decent for close-range battles when you need to break those pesky limbs. Just get up close and personal!
Honestly, any weapon will do if you know how to mod it right. Focus on high crit chance and crit damage to make it effective against Eidolons.
