How to Get Hancock in Fallout 4
To get Hancock as a companion in Fallout 4, first, head to Goodneighbor. Once there, go to the Old State House and complete the quest 'The Big Dig' for Bobbi No-Nose. After that twisted adventure, you'll need to confront Hancock. Then, simply have a chat with him back in Goodneighbor. If you've impressed him enough, he'll offer his services as a companion. Remember, Hancock loves it when you're generous and help others, so keep that in mind if you want to win him over!

Easiest way? Just be a good person. Seriously, Hancock digs that. Help out in Goodneighbor, finish 'The Big Dig,' and he's pretty much yours. Oh, and don't forget to actually talk to him after. He won't follow you around until you do.
Did the whole 'The Big Dig' quest and talked to Hancock after, but what really sealed the deal was when I kept making choices in the game that were all about helping others. Hancock can't resist joining someone who's out there making the wasteland a better place. Plus, dude's got a killer coat, so totally worth it.
Just bribe him with chems lol.
