How to get hay in Terraria
Getting hay in Terraria is super easy! All you need is a Sickle, which you can buy from the Merchant for just 1 Silver Coin. Once you have your Sickle, just swipe at some grass, and voila, you've got yourself some hay. It's great for making hay walls or for crafting target dummies to practice your combat skills.

Honestly, don't bother with hay unless you're really into building that farm vibe or need those target dummies. There are way cooler materials to collect and build with in Terraria.
