To get holds in MLB The Show, bring in a reliever in a save situation (leading by 1-3 runs) who maintains the lead without finishing the game.

From my experience, put your setup guy in during the 7th or 8th inning. If he keeps the lead but doesn't finish the game, you鈥檒l be racking up holds like a pro!

Bro, just get a guy in the game, hold the lead, and don't let him close. Simple as that.

Here's the secret: Just bring in a reliever in the 7th or 8th inning, keep the lead, then swap 'em out before the 9th!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
