Getting immune to lava in Terraria isn't too tricky! You'll need an Obsidian Skin Potion, which grants immunity to lava for a whopping 4 minutes. Brew it up with Water, Fireblossom, Waterleaf, and Obsidian at a Placed Bottle or an Alchemy Table. For a more permanent solution, aim for the Lava Charm or Lava Waders, which provide limited immunity to lava. And if you're into late-game gear, the Terraspark Boots combine multiple effects, including lava immunity!
Honestly, just build a bridge over the lava. Who needs to swim in it when you can walk over it?
