Might be a hot take, but sometimes lost data is a sign to start fresh and relive the epic battles all over again.
Oh no, lost data is the worst! If you're playing on console, try checking the cloud saves through PS Plus or Xbox Live. Fingers crossed!
I had the same issue! I managed to get my data back by restoring a previous Windows backup. Worth a shot if you're on PC.
