Honestly, just buy them. If you're really into the game and wanna support the devs, dropping a few bucks on lunchboxes isn't the worst thing. Plus, it's the quickest way to get them without waiting around for objectives to complete.

Also, tapping on the little Vault-Tec boxes that occasionally appear in your vault can net you some free loot, including lunchboxes. Not a guaranteed method, but every little bit helps!
