Omg I did this once! Just go to your Instagram settings, then Account, and click on 'Recently Deleted.' You can restore messages from there!
Unfortunately, once DMs are deleted, they鈥檙e gone for good (unless you have a screenshot). Prevention is better than cure!
Try downloading your Instagram data package! Go to Settings > Security > Download Data and recover your messages that way.
