Getting meteorite ore in Terraria is all about smashing those Shadow Orbs or Crimson Hearts depending on if you're in a Corruption or Crimson world. You gotta break at least one with a hammer or explosives. After you crush one, there's a chance a meteorite will crash land in your world overnight. Keep an eye on the skies and be ready to mine with a tungsten pickaxe or better!

Pro tip: After breaking a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart, keep your base area and sky clear. Meteorites can land anywhere, and you don't want to miss it by not having a clear landing spot. Plus, you'll need a decent pickaxe. Don't waste your time with anything less than tungsten!

Just wait for a meteorite to land lol. But really, after breaking a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart, it's just a matter of time until a meteor drops. Be patient!
