Honestly, buying Moonglow seeds from the Dryad during a Blood Moon is easier. No need to brave the jungle at night.

Just wait for night and go jungle. Moonglow's easy to spot cuz it glows. Hit it with anything really.

Getting Moonglow seeds in Terraria is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of nighttime adventure. First off, you wanna head to the Jungle biome when it's night in the game because that's when Moonglow flowers bloom and are visible. Look for these glowing blue flowers, and when you find them, simply whack them with your pickaxe or sword. Each Moonglow you harvest this way has a chance to drop Moonglow seeds, which you can then plant in Clay Pots or Jungle Grass to grow your own Moonglow flowers. Remember to bring some light sources; it gets pretty dark in the Jungle at night!
