How to get more accessory slots in Terraria
basically, just defeat the Wall of Flesh boss and then use a Demon Heart. boom, extra slots.

Demon Hearts are your best friend for this. Defeated the Wall of Flesh in expert mode and got my extra slot. Game changer for sure!
To get more accessory slots in Terraria, you need to defeat the Wall of Flesh to gain access to Hardmode. This will give you an extra slot. Additionally, using a Demon Heart, which you can get from a Treasure Bag in expert or master mode after defeating the Wall of Flesh, will add another accessory slot.
You can't, the game limits you for balance reasons. Just get better at choosing what to equip.
