Sadly, you can't directly play Mortal Kombat 9 on PS4 since it wasn't ported to that platform. But you can access it on Xbox One through backward compatibility if you have that option.

Only way to play Mortal Kombat 9 on PS4 is to use PlayStation Now. It's a streaming service where you can play lots of older games, including many Mortal Kombat titles.
