From my experience, performance mode disables a lot of extras like motion blur. You'll need to switch to DirectX 11 or 12 to get motion blur back.

You can't enable motion blur in Fortnite's performance mode鈥擡pic Games disables it by default to improve performance. To get motion blur, switch to a different graphics mode.

Switching to either DirectX 11 or 12 mode will give you access to motion blur settings, but it might impact your FPS.

Hot take: Motion blur is overrated. Keep playing in performance mode for that sweet, silky gameplay!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
