To play Nintendo games on your Steam Deck, you'll need to use emulation software. Emulators like Yuzu for Nintendo Switch games or Dolphin for Wii and GameCube titles can be installed on the Steam Deck. Remember, legality varies by region, so you must own the games you're emulating.

Straight up, you can't officially get Nintendo games on Steam Deck because Nintendo and Valve are separate entities. However, you can use emulators to play Nintendo games. Just be aware of the legal grey area you're tiptoeing into.

Yo, tried some Nintendo classics on my Steam Deck using an emulator. Just download Yuzu or Dolphin - make sure you own the games, though. It's a bit of a hacky workaround but feels awesome!

Honestly, why bother? Just get a Nintendo Switch if you want to play Nintendo games. That's what it's for.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
