How to get non-Steam games on Steam Deck
BakingAlert·7 months agoAdding non-Steam games to your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! First, you'll need to enter Desktop Mode. Then, install your game either through another store (like Epic Games) or from an external drive. Open Steam, go to 'Games' in the top menu, and select 'Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library.' Navigate to your game's .exe file, and voilà, you can now launch it directly from Steam!

Honestly, why bother? Steam's got everything you need.
Just drag and drop, my friend. Well, not literally, but almost. Get into Desktop Mode, install your game however you like, and then add it to Steam. Easy peasy.
Did it myself last week! Desktop Mode is key. Added a game from a USB stick and it works smooth.
