Getting your old Terraria character back kind of depends on how you lost it in the first place. If you've got a backup of your game files, just restore the 'Players' folder to its original location, and you should be good! This folder's usually found in Documents\My Games\Terraria for Windows users. If it's a cloud save issue, try disabling and re-enabling cloud saving for Terraria in Steam. Sometimes it just needs a nudge!

Actually, one time my character disappeared and I thought it was gone for good. Turns out, I had accidentally enabled cloud save and forgot about it. When I turned that feature off and on again in Steam, my character magically reappeared. So, before giving up, make sure to check those cloud settings!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
