Just connect an Ethernet cable or use Wi-Fi, then go to Network Settings and follow the steps. You're good to go!

First-hand experience here: connect your PS3 to your Wi-Fi, go to Network Settings, and run through the Internet Connection Setup! Shouldn't take more than a couple mins.
