Just build a basic box house. It works. NPCs aren’t picky as long as it checks off their basic list: door, chair, table, light, and walls. Bam, new neighbors!

Honestly, just focus on gathering resources and advancing through the game. As you progress, you'll naturally meet the conditions for various NPCs to show up. They'll come to you as you go along, so just enjoy the journey!

Getting folks to move into your Terraria world is all about meeting their unique needs! First up, you gotta have a proper house for each NPC — that means walls, a door, a chair, a table, and light source. Make sure the house is sealed off from invaders! Different NPCs have different requirements; for example, the Merchant needs you to have 50 silver coins, while the Arms Dealer requires you to own a firearm. Pro tip: keep expanding and diversifying to see a variety of characters pop into your town!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
