Unlocking Pichu? Just play with friends over and over till it pops up. Simple as that!
You can get Pichu by playing through the World of Light adventure mode!
To unlock Pichu, you can play through World of Light, do Classic Mode with Pikachu, or encounter him in the Challenger's Approach. Good luck!
Here's what I did: finished Pikachu's Classic Mode and bam, Pichu appeared. Easy peasy!
