Just go smack some pixies in the Hallow. They drop pixie dust.

Honestly, farming pixies for Pixie Dust can be tiresome but totally worth it for crafting. I spent a couple of hours chasing them down in the Hallow. Best strategy? Get a good weapon and keep moving; they'll come to you. Also, watch out for other Hallow creatures; they can be quite distracting!

Pixie Dust in Terraria is pretty easy to get, but you'll need to be ready for a bit of combat. You can find pixies in the Hallow biome, which spawns after you defeat the Wall of Flesh and enter hardmode. These pixies flutter around looking all magical and stuff, but don't let their looks deceive you; they're feisty! Once you defeat a pixie, it'll drop Pixie Dust. So, gear up, head to the Hallow, and start hunting pixies!
