Sadly, the original Plants vs Zombies game doesn't have a built-in multiplayer feature since it was designed as a single-player game. However, you can take turns playing levels or strategize together on the same device if you're looking for a shared experience. For actual multiplayer modes, check out Plants vs Zombies 2's Battlez mode or the various Garden Warfare and Battle for Neighborville games, which are all about multiplayer fun.

No multiplayer in the OG PvZ, guys. But, if you're itching for some zombie vs plant action with friends, PvZ: Garden Warfare or PvZ: Battle for Neighborville will scratch that itch. They're basically the multiplayer version we all wished for.

If you're a Plants vs Zombies player looking for extra money or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Plants vs Zombies essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
