How to Remove Plates from a PS5

I did it myself recently. Stand the PS5 vertically, grip the bottom of the faceplate, slightly lift it, and then slide it downwards. Voila, it pops right off!

Why bother? The plates are designed to stay on. Unless you're upgrading storage, just let it be.

It's pretty simple! Just lay your PS5 flat, press the corner of the plate near the PlayStation logo, and slide it off. Easy peasy!
