LOL just play through the Adventure Mode, dude. Most presents drop randomly from zombies you vanquish. The more zombies you take down, the higher your chance of scoring some sweet, sweet loot. And don't forget to crush those Zomboni drivers on level 5-10; they sometimes drop a present with a guaranteed new plant inside!
Honestly, just play the game. There's no secret method or cheat code. The more you play, the more presents you'll likely get.
