Just buy a game directly on Steam, and forget about keys. It's way easier since the game gets added to your library instantly, no key required.

Get Steam gift cards by playing games on Playbite

There are a few ways to get a product key on Steam! If you've bought a physical copy of a game, check inside the box or on a card for the key. For digital purchases directly from Steam, the game is automatically added to your library, so no key needed there. Bought a game from a third-party retailer? They should email you the key, which you then activate on Steam by clicking 'Games' at the top of the client and selecting 'Activate a Product on Steam.'

Sometimes, devs or publishers will give away keys during promotions or on social media. Keep an eye out for those opportunities!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
