Getting a refund on Steam is pretty straightforward! Just head over to Steam's Help site, log in with your Steam account, and click on “A Purchase.” Then, pick the game or software you want to refund from the list, click on “I would like a refund,” and then on “I'd like to request a refund.” Fill out the form and voilà! Keep in mind, there's a window for refunds: the purchase must be within 14 days and with less than 2 hours of playtime.

Actually, you can also request a refund directly through the Steam client. Just click on 'Help' -> 'Steam Support', then follow the same steps. It's super easy and user-friendly.

Not worth it. Just sell your game on a third-party site or trade it. Steam's refund window is too short.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
