I once roleplayed a character with serious addiction issues in Fallout 4, including alcohol. The most immersive way to handle it, in my opinion, is to actually visit the doctors in the game for a cure. It feels more real and adds depth to the gameplay. Plus, talking to Doctor Sun gives you a chance to explore more of Diamond City. So, for the full experience, skip the Addictol and make your way to a doc!

Getting rid of alcohol addiction in Fallout 4 is pretty simple! You just need to use an item called Addictol. You can find it scattered around the world, buy it from vendors, or sometimes get it from your doctor in major settlements. Another way is to visit a doctor in the game, like Doctor Sun in Diamond City, who can cure your addiction for a small fee. So either pop that Addictol or pay a visit to your local post-apocalyptic doc!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
