Just set your resolution to match your screen's and you should be good. Black bars are basically the game telling you it doesn't fit your screen properly.

Getting rid of those pesky black bars in Apex Legends usually boils down to adjusting your game's resolution settings. Head over to the game settings, look for the Video or Display settings, and make sure your game鈥檚 resolution matches your monitor鈥檚 native resolution. Also, playing around with the aspect ratio settings can help. If your monitor's aspect ratio is 16:9, set your game to the same to avoid black bars.

Honestly, those black bars have never bothered me. I think it adds a cinematic look, but hey, to each their own!

Had this issue before. For me, just updating my GPU drivers and tweaking the resolution in game did the trick. Check for an update and see if that helps.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
