Getting rid of corruption in Terraria is all about proactive management and a little bit of elbow grease. First, you're gonna want to isolate the corrupted areas with a 3-block wide trench around them - corruption can't jump across gaps wider than 3 blocks. Then, use Purification Powder or the Clentaminator (available from the Steampunker NPC after defeating a mechanical boss) to cleanse the corrupted areas. Don't forget to regularly check back and manage any new corruption spots that pop up!

Honestly, just use the Clentaminator. It's like a super soaker filled with anti-corruption juice. Spray everything in sight and watch the corruption disappear. Easiest solution by far.

Good luck, corruption spreads faster than you can say 'Terraria'. I tried clearing it once, spent hours, and it was back like nothing happened. I say, embrace the chaos!
