You can't technically 'get rid' of the Family Manager on PS4. The Family Manager is the account that set up the family. If you want to change the Family Manager, you'll need to remove all family members and create a new family with a different account set as the manager.

The only way to change the Family Manager on PS4 is to delete the entire family group and start over with a new one. Just make sure you re-add everyone afterward!

Nope, you can't actually remove or change the Family Manager. Sorry!

I had the same issue! The only solution is to dissolve the family group by going to Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management > Family Management, and then re-create the family with a new manager.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
