As a last resort, if a settler truly bugs you, you could always turn to mods. There's likely a mod out there that gives you more... direct control over your settlements' population management. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility (and potentially glitchy gameplay).
just send them to another settlement lol, easiest way to 'get rid' of someone without turning your sanctuary into a horror movie set.
Getting rid of settlers in Fallout 4 isn't as sinister as it sounds! If you're looking to manage your settlement populations more strategically, you've got a few options. First, you can simply send them to another settlement if you're overpopulated. Just go into the workshop mode, select the settler, and choose a new destination. If you're looking to, uh, permanently remove a settler, you'll have to get a bit more creative since you can't directly harm non-hostile NPCs. Leading them into the wilderness to face the dangers of the Wasteland or constructing a 'trap' that proves fatal are roundabout methods players have used.
