Just keep playing, honestly. IMO, Shimmer isn't worth stressing over much. Focus on building, exploring, and gearing up. Eventually, you'll find a natural way to deal with it or it'll become just another part of your Terraria journey.

To get rid of Shimmer in Terraria, you've got to craft a Shimmer will-o'-wisp. Seems ironic, right? But yes, gather the necessary ingredients, which usually involve a bit of exploring and defeating some specific mobs. Once you've crafted it, use the Shimmer will-o'-wisp, and bam, Shimmer be gone!

Had Shimmer mess with my base once. Fixed it by crafting the item needed to clear it. Required some materials I didn鈥檛 have at first but was worth the adventure. Don鈥檛 worry too much; facing challenges like this is part of what makes Terraria fun.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
