Delete it from your phone and then follow the steps [here](https://support.snapchat.com/en-US/a/deleting-your-account) to deactivate your account. Two-step process but worth it for peace of mind!
Toss your phone in the nearest lake. (But seriously, delete the app and deactivate your account from settings.)
Why tho? Just mute notifications if it's annoying.
I did this last month! Just delete the app and go through the deactivation process in the settings. Took me like 5 minutes.
