Try resetting your controller! Turn off your Xbox, remove the batteries from the controller, and let it sit for a few minutes before putting them back in. Worked for me!

You can also calibrate your controller through the Xbox Accessories app. Connect your controller, open the app, and follow the on-screen instructions to recalibrate.

A quick fix is to clean around the base of the analog sticks with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Just don't go overboard with the liquid!

I recommend using compressed air to blow out any dust or debris that might be causing the drift. It鈥檚 a super easy and cheap fix!

Honestly, just buy a new controller. It's probably not what you want to hear, but sometimes it's the only reliable solution.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
