Trade lock in Pokemon TCG usually means you've got cards that can't be traded, usually because they were free or part of a promotion. Unfortunately, you can't lift the trade lock from these cards directly. They're meant to stay in your collection. But, you can trade the cards you got from booster packs bought with coins in the game or real money.

There's no magic spell to unlock trade-locked cards in Pokemon TCG, my friend. These cards are locked for a reason, usually because they were gifted or part of a special promo. The best way to get tradable cards is to open packs you've purchased or earned through gameplay victories.

I wish there was a way, but trade-locked cards are here to stay. Embrace it, collect 'em all!

Actually, there's no way to 'get rid' of trade locks on cards. They're locked to prevent the market from being flooded with freebies. Focus on trading the cards you can, and enjoy collecting the rest!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
