First things first: Unplug your PS5! Then, grab a can of compressed air and gently blow into the vents to evict those unwelcome guests. If they're being stubborn, carefully open the console (this may void warranty) and clean out the insides with a soft brush or vacuum set on low. Bonus tip: Keep your gaming area clean and crumb-free to avoid future infestations.

Honestly, just take it to a professional. They'll have the tools and know-how to clean it without causing damage.

Easiest trick: Put your PS5 in a large plastic bag with some roach bait. Seal it up and let the bait do its thing. Those roaches won't stand a chance!

Okay, hot take: Buy a new PS5 and make sure to game in a clean space from now on. Roaches are persistent!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
