LOL, bad news: you can't unlock Shadow in Super Smash Bros Brawl. He's an Assist Trophy and not a playable character.

Sorry, Shadow isn't an unlockable character in Brawl. You can only see him as an Assist Trophy. Maybe try Sonic instead?
