To get Shadow Keys in Terraria, you gotta dive deep into the Dungeon. Look out for Golden Chests; they're your ticket. The Shadow Key is usually inside one of these locked chests, and the best part? It's reusable! So, once you snag one, you're set for opening all those Shadow Chests in the Underworld. Just make sure you've defeated Skeletron first, or those Dungeon Guardians won’t be too happy to see you.

You simply need to find a Golden Chest in the Dungeon. They're not just lying around everywhere, so keep your eyes peeled. Once you defeat Skeletron, go dungeon diving, unlock a Golden Chest with a Golden Key, and boom – Shadow Key is yours.
Dungeon's the way to go. But remember, patience is key. Literally.
Honestly, just trade for it. If you're not into the whole Dungeon spelunking thing, you'll find plenty of players who've got spare Shadow Keys to trade. Might cost you some rare items or coins, though.
