You can get a purple shield by using the right Energy Color on your Warframe! Just go to the Arsenal, select your Warframe, and change the Energy Color to purple. Voilà, purple shield!

From personal experience, changing the Energy Color to purple in your Arsenal will make your shield purple. Did it last night, and it looks awesome!
