Getting the Slime Mount in Terraria is all about defeating a boss called King Slime. You can summon him by using a Slime Crown, which you craft at a Demon/Crimson Altar using 20 Gel and a Gold or Platinum Crown. There's also a chance he'll naturally spawn during the Slime Rain event. Once you beat King Slime, he drops the Slime Saddle with a chance of 25%, and voila! You've got yourself a bouncy new ride!
Honestly, getting the Slime Mount ain't worth the hassle. Running and wings are way better for getting around. But if you really want it, just beat King Slime a bunch.
