Getting Solar Flare Armor in Terraria is like the ultimate flex on your in-game enemies. First up, you gotta beat the Moon Lord boss to get Luminite. He's the big bad of Terraria, so no small feat there. Once you've shown him who's boss, he drops Luminite, and you'll need 45 bars of that shiny goodness. But wait, there's more! You also need Solar Fragments, which you collect from the Solar Pillar during the Lunar Events. You need 36 of these fiery babies. Craft all that together at an Ancient Manipulator, and voila, Solar Flare Armor is yours to show off.

Honestly, I think Beetle armor is better for defense. Solar Flare's flashy, but Beetle gives you that sweet damage mitigation.
