Disconnecting your internet for a few seconds and then reconnecting can sometimes do the trick too. Just a quick router reboot.

Easiest way? For PC players, just open your Task Manager, find your network tab, and suspend GTA5 for about 10 seconds. Resume the process, hop back into the game, and voil脿, you're the king of your own public lobby. Console players, you're gonna wanna mess with your internet settings, like changing the MTU settings (PlayStation) to 800 or doing a NAT type test (Xbox), which can boot you to a solo lobby.

All these methods seem like a hassle. I just play with friends in invite-only sessions. Zero stress, zero randoms ruining the fun.

Honestly, just keep switching lobbies till you hit an empty one. Sometimes it's that simple. No need to mess with settings if you're not tech-savvy.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
