To get the Soul Eater in Phantasy Star Online, you have to complete the 'Dr. Osto's Research' side quest and then finish the 'Unsealed Door' quest. After that, keep doing the 'Waterfall Tears' quest, find Kireek, and fight him. You'll face him again in the 'Black Paper' quest, and finally in 'From the Depths,' where he drops the Soul Eater!
