Easiest way to snag those Souls of Night? Head straight to the Underground Corruption or Crimson areas in your world. Once you're there, start taking out any enemy that moves. But remember, you gotta be at least in the Cavern layer for those souls to drop. It's a bit like fishing, but with more weapons and less water.
Souls of Night? Not worth the hassle. Just trade with other players.
In my experience, setting up a farm in the Underground Corruption is the fastest way to collect Souls of Night. Just make sure you've got plenty of space and traps, and you'll be swimming in Souls in no time.
